But, we're opening against films like "The Hulk", and it takes a lot for a small, independent, Asian American film to compete with the commercial behemoths. I'm driving in the middle of nowhere and bored out of my mind. I'm in no hurry so i switched to the slow lane and let the cars pass me by. For awhile now, i've been following this white car. From the outlines of their heads, I could tell it was a guy driving and a girl sitting next to him. With endless pavement infront of me, my mind started to wonder about these two strangers. Are they lovers setting out on a new journey together or just two friends accompanying each other on this long jaded road? Something broke my train of thought. I noticed her leaning towards his head, kissing his neck and ears. Um, maybe this trip won't be that bad after all. = ) Her arm reached over to his neck. A massage to thank her for driving? Then her arms shifted to the front down a bit...a bonus massage? From the rear veiw mirror, i have a panoramic view of his eyes. From the shape of his eyes, i could tell his was smiling. I wonder if he could see my envious eyes through the same mirror. He reaches over to her back or is it her boobs. Whatever he was doing, it made her head tilt back. A thank you massage? For a second, i felt guilty for spying and i looked away trying to concentrate on the never-ending horizon. Curiosity lead my eyes back to them. Huh?...one head's missing. I noticed both his hands were on the wheel......and the car was kinda swerving. From the mirror, i could tell from the way his eyes widen and half-close that whatever she was doing down there must be pretty damn good. A few minutes past and then the car sped up all of a sudden....and she came back up and gave him a peck on the check.

As i drove pass them, i couldn't help but turn to see what my kinky strangers looked like. To my surprise, they were both girls. Crazy...Cool

Lost: Ces' ICQ buddy list

Since i moved to the states, i've stopped using ICQ and therefore, lost touch with a lot of my highschool friends. Nice and perky....not fond of the white undies though, although lace does give it an extra touch....

I dunno about this one. It's a bit TOO realistic. If i saw this, i'd be like "girrrl, fix ur panties! You got a WEDGIE!" i dunno why a girl would wanna buy a skirt that had panties that look like they are half tucked in her ass. ummm...i get it!!! When i saw them, it bothered me but i didn't know why so i kept looking at them. Then, i figured out it was the wedgie. So if you want guys to stare at your ass longer, this is the skirt to buy.

Now, this one is just just HILARIOUS. When i saw the apron on her, the first thing that came into my mind is..."a Mother!" i dunno, i just associate the apron with ladies cooking in the kitchen cus my mom always wears an apron. But if u look closely, it's a lady working at a bookstore or something...Either way, this one is definitely NOT attractive...Not only did the apron ruined it, what kinda underwear is that? NOT sexy AT ALL...it looks like one of those panties u were when u are on ur period cus u need FULL coverage.

Because

Because i'm an ics student, some people think i'm smart in a nerdy way.

Because i'm comfortable with my body, some people think i'm a tease.

Because i'm blunt with my sexual thoughts, some people think i'm a flirt.

Because i kiss girls and touch other boobies, some people think i'm bi.

Because i'm an international student, some people are shocked with i speak with little accent.

Because i get hyper, some people think i'm a light weight and can't handle any alcohol.

Because i'm Chinese, some people think i'm conservative.

Because i know what i want, some people think i'm aggressive.

Why ICS...

So many people ask me why i'm in ICS. To be honest, part of it is because i love hearing the "ohhh's" and "ahhh's" when i tell people i'm an ICS student. I know that silly but immediately, they think i'm like this smart chick. Haha, i was always the average student in highschool, never the smart student in class so i guess it's my time to feel smart. haha Well, i stuck with ICS because i have no idea what i want to study, except interior designing which is not offered and is not a realistic career according to my parents, so i decided to pick the one that will make me the most money....

Girl and Girl

Is it that big of a turn on for guys to see girls grabbing each other boobies? I'm totally comfortable with my breasts and have often grabbed other chick's breast just because. On the other hand, my boobs have been grabbed by my friends too. To me, it's just like two guys tapping each other cocks. Just a minute ago, my guy friend was telling me how he was wrestling with his friend last night trying to grab each other cocks. My other friend told me that they do "cock checks" during football practice. When i hear about these stuff, i am not turned on by it because it's in a completely nonsexual way. So why is it that guys get sooooo freakin turned on by girls who grab each other's boobs in a nonsexual way.

I was at a bday party and out of nowhere, i grabbed the chicks boobs....no reason, whatever, its fun. She's not one of the girls i usually grab, so it caught her off guard and i think she was kinda offended by it...SORRY...i thought girls were cool with it, cus i always do it to my girlfriends, but i was wrong....So after the boob grabbing, i swear the whole table stopped talking and just looked at us. These guys started whispering, "hey hey, she's gonna grab her boobs"...Another guy even look out a dollar bill and started waving it in the air like a little kid trying to get the ice cream man's attention. He was so into the idea of two girls grabbing each other boobs, i swear, his dick was prob hard just thinking about it.

Why is it so intriguing to see two girls grabbin each other and not two boys? I understand if it's in a sexual way and the girls are half naked....but fully dressed in a restaurant?

Having a bad day, need a laugh?

Haha, my daddy sent me this pic!!! You can cut and paste this blog. THANKS)

Better Luck Tomorrow is finally going to be in theaters!!!!! Please go watch it and support it! For those in Irvine, we are all meeting at the meter parking lot next to the flag pole at 6:30 pm so we can go to the Block as one big group. We will definitely turn heads if we walk to the theaters in a group of a hundred or more people. LA people, there will be a release party on Saturday at club 9098 www.retro9098.com (it plays 90's music! OUR GENERATION!!). You can get in free if you have a BLT ticket stub.

Reasons you should watch this movie:

1) All the main characters are Asian American. This is the first time a movie has a cast of all Asian American and it's not a Jacky Chan or Jet li movie

2)If this film sells out every show, more Asian American scripts will be produced. A lot of distrubutors are skeptical and are waiting on this movie's success to see if it's worth their money to make more Asian American films.

3)These Asian American characters have 3-D roles. They aren't in the movie because they are a delivery boy, nerd in school or seductive chick. Anyone can play their role.

4)Show your voice by your ticket. It is important that all shows are sold out. If it doesn't sell out, BLT will not be shown in other states.

5)Help your friend Ces out...I've been working really hard promoting this film so it would be awesome if this film goes nationwide. Thanks!

Better Luck Tomorrow will also be showing in CHICAGO, SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK tomorrow! Now, I'm a freakin computer programmer who loves PINK! No one in highschool would've guessed that i would choose to major in computer science....not even if they could guess a hundred times. PINK, i used to snicker in disgust when i saw people wearing pink. Comon, that is soooo elementary...Ironically, I am planning on dying my hair back to black with PINK streaks!! The greatest thing is that although we've changed so much in our own ways, we still share this unique bond.

Another thing that is different is my priorities in life. The first night i was there, i was planning where to go with my friend and I realized that i was planning my trip based on the things i wanted to eat. We made a list of things i wanted to do and here was the list. "Thai food, Morrocan food, Japanese food, Vegetarian food, jello shots, dessert from little Italy, Korean food, and cook at home" ALL FOOD! When i was young, i planned my trips on which amusement parks, water parks, and toy stores i wanted to go to. In highschool, I planned my trips on where i wanted to shop and what i wanted to buy. Now, i'm into food. No wonder it's so hard for me to diet. When i was in highschool, i was so dedicated to losing weight, i would eat salad for lunch but instead of dressing, i would sprinkle some salt for flavor. I didn't eat ANY type of fried food and if i really had to eat it, i would use a napkin to soak up the oil first. I hardly ate rice cus i wanted to stay away from carbs. I hardly ate any sweets, no cakes or ice cream. On top of that, i worked out every weekday. Now, i eat everything! From fried chicken to cream cakes to fatty salad dressing....ALL IN MY TUMMY! The ironic thing is now that i'm in the states, i'm always craving for chinese food from Taiwan but when i was in Taiwan, i didn't eat much cus i was always fuckin dieting.

I blame the differences between the two cultures. When i'm in Taiwan, i feel huge. Some brands dun even carry my size!! WTF! Everyone's so skinny there even my family tells me to lose some pounds. But when i'm here, i feel small. I go to my friend's house and they are constantly feeding me because they think i'm too skinny...Okaii...Even my bra size is different. I'm a D in Taiwan and here i'm a C. If i ever told anyone here that i have bras with size Ds...they'll be like..."whatever, who are u kidding! You AIN"T that big!!!" In Taiwan, when i go out to family dinner, at least one mom will come over and ask me what my mom fed me to get such an unconventional Asian bust. Err...great....i DUNNO!

When I say, "I dun know anything about cars", I really mean it

Have you ever played the game where you had to guess what the object is by looking at a magnified part of it? Well, let's play that game....

Guess what this is..

What do you think it is? Let me know. I've had some interesting guesses so far.

Okay, the story is....this is actually quite embarrassing but i believe things are only embarrassing if you don't share it.
It was 3:30 am on a thursday night. I was driving home from a club in west hollywood. Actually, my friend drove my car to and back from LA and i was driving home from his place to mine which was only 5 minutes away. It was really late and i was extremely tired. While i was driving home, i kinda hit the curb of the street. Okay, well i kinda fell asleep and hit the curb. DUN WORRY...my car's in good shape and i'm still alive...i feel really stupid cus i could've died. I've learned my lesson.

Back to my story. When i got out of my car, i heard a hissing sound. Fuck, i got another flat tire (i had a flat tire earlier that week and i was driving on my spare. OKAY, so i find out later that i'm only supposed to drive on my spare for like 20 miles. I've been driving on my spare all week and the ride to LA and back is already 60 miles. Someone explain to me why i wasn't born with this type of knowledge). So, silly me, the first thing that came into my mind was ....GUM! I kept thinking i needed to find some gum to plug up the hole. My logic behind this was hopefully the gum will plug up the hole and keep the air in my tire so I would be able to drive to a car shop tomorrow morning. Makes sense, right? Well, it did to me at 4 am in the morning. Too bad, i didn't find any gum in my house. Eventually, I gave up and got ready for bed. I tried sleeping but i just couldn't stop thinking of my poor leaking tire. SO i got out of bed and return to my search for gum in the kitchen. I found no gum but guess what i found....FRUIT BY THE FOOT! YES...so there i was in my pajamas shivering from the freezing cold at 4 am chewing on fruit roll-up, spitting it out and carefully patching my freakin hole. Yupe, the red stuff in that picture is a WHOLE FOOT of fruit by the foot!!!

To my surprise, after i told people my story, so many people asked, "Did it work?!" ...err....thanks, i dun feel so stupid anymore..

Did u guess right? Here's the answer

I dun get it

So i'm surfing around looking for interesting blogs to read and i find this. When the film "Better Luck Tomorrow" opens on April 4, 2003; it will be one of those events. On that day,"BLT" will be released in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. And open the following week, April 11, in: Washington D.C., Boston, Houston, Honolulu, Sacramento, San Diego, Seattle, Portland and Minneapolis.

The release will set a benchmark for a number of "firsts". 1) It is the first Asian American film ever to be picked up at the Sundance Film Festival. 2) It is the first film ever purchased and distributed by MTV Films. 3) It is the first all Asian-American cast to be widely distributed by a studio in a long time. It is because of all these "firsts" that I am drafting this memo, to shed light on just how essential it is that our community support this film. The first 3 weeks' attendance will determine whether or not we'll be setting a benchmark record for "firsts--and lasts".

I know it sounds extremely self-serving that an actor in the film have the audacity to draft such a plea to see his film. But it is because I have been so close to the film through production and have personally seen people from all ethnicities react so positively to it; that I truly believe this event is exactly what we as a community have been yearning to get behind for years. Whether you are Asian or not. To send a message to the world. It is not "just" a movie. What hinges on the release is so much larger than the film itself.

The power of cinema is colossal. Whether you realize it or not, billions of people shape their outlooks on life from what they see on film. Their beliefs. What is important in life. Differences between right and wrong. And when the world is exposed to the cliched images of Asians that currently occupy the screen, these images subconsciously encapsulate for them what Asian people are. The martial- artists practitoners. The nerdy students. The exotic sexual prizes. The guy that delivers the food to your door. And it becomes a self-fueling process because audiences continue to pay admission to see them. While unfortunately, these are the only roles that are available for Asian Actors to portray.

Fans of "BLT" and major film critics have all praised the film for being an accomplished and engaging universal story centered on teen violence. The film is not a judgmental piece of the actions, but a narrative of how real life teen violence is set in motion. The film represents stories from headlines that we've all read that just happen to be told by Asian actors.

"Best and most provocative--a funny-sexy-scary powerhouse."
-Peter Travers, Rolling Stone Magazine.

"Extraordinarily accomplished and thought-provoking."
- Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times

"Stylish and very well acted."
- David Ansen, Newsweek

"The hottest, most stylish and smartly twisted film."
- Duane Bygre, The Hollywood Reporter

Phrases, such as how the film "broke all the rules in Hollywood" and "after the first 5 minutes, I forgot that the cast was Asian" are repeated over and over again. For the first time, our true voices are being heard and understood by the Hollywood decision makers. That we're just regular people and we too, have stories that all human beings can relate to.

Based on the box office attendance after the first 3 weekends, the studio will then see if it is worth rolling out into more theatres across the country, the same way "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" did. Once it rolls out nationally, others unlikely to see the film will have then heard the buzz/acclaim and go to just see a good movie. And they will tell others and so on.

Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that as many people see the film during those first 3 weekends to get the momentum going. If you do not happen to reside in the initial cities, spread the word to those you know who do live there. And with a bit of luck, it will make its way to your hometown after week 3. If the "I'll wait to watch it next week" mentality occurs with this film, chances are there won't be a next week. Every person helps. If you've read this far, I sincerely thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Parry Shen
"Ben" in "Better Luck Tomorrow"
Visit www.betterlucktomorrow.com or www.parryshen.com for more details on the film and how to help

Cell Phone Drive

I'm a program intern at UCI's Volunteer Center. And yea, guys too! Hair down there is just ugly! Have you ever heard someone say, "so i was fooling around with my boy/girl last night and man, i've gotta say...that bush of his/her was just gorgeous!" Noooo, never.

I discovered the brazilian wax last year. Everyone always ask, "Is it painful?" um, HELLO?!?! Yes, it is extremely painful but after a pill of Advil, it's not that bad. If you are really scared, u can take two pills of Advil but NEVER take three. I took three one time and i was soo drugged out.

My relationship with my bikini waxer is very interesting. She's basically a stranger who touches me and knows all about my love life. Whenever i go get waxed, the first thing she'll say is, "So how's your boyfriend?" or "What's up with your love life?" When someone's touching your most intimate part, you kinda have the tendency to open up to them. I tell her what's going on in my life and she tells me about her love life. I bet if she wrote a romantic novel based on all her client's love stories and dramas, it would be a best seller.

So one day i was gossiping with my bikini waxer, and i asked her if she has ever waxed a guy. She said she had. I never thought about guys getting it waxed cus i just assumed it would be too painful for them (u know, since girls can take more pain than guys). But, if she waxed a guy before, the pain must be bearable. Here's to all the guys out there. WAX IT! I promise your chick will love it! Maybe i'm asking too much, but guys should definitely trim.

I was at a party the other day and I asked the guys if they trimmed? Most of the Asian guys never even heard of guys trimming, while most of my American friends trim theirs. The "hairy" guys were all kinda shocked and were asking questions on how and why they did it. My friend had the perfect answer, "Well, when you are down there, do you want it all in your face? NOO, right? Well, the girl should'nt have to either." Then my friend goes, "Oh, i see..but i'm Chinese, Asians dun have much hair." I'm thinking, " you jerk, i dun care if you have 20 strands or 200 strands of hair down there, it only takes fucking one to get stuck in your teeth!"

Question of the blog: So, do you trim?

Being Naked....

I love being naked. It's such an awesome feeling. It's a shame our society looks down on people who show their skin in public. What's wrong with Christina's Aguilera's new "naked" style? I agree she looks trashy and ugly but that's mostly from her hairdo, make up, clothes and attitude. Honestly, if i had her body, i would totally show it off but in a sexy and elegant way. Covering my tits with my hair? Sure, i'll do that for a photo shoot.

If i lived by myself, i would walk around naked all the time. Cook naked, watch tv naked, sleep naked, dance in front of the mirror naked, so many things u can do naked. In fact, i'm writing this blog naked (just got out of the shower). I like to stay naked for awhile after my shower, it lets my skin breathe before my clothes cover them again.

Unlike nudists, i like being naked alone only. I've never been to a nudist colony but my friend has and she showed me pictures. They do everything naked. The only thing i dun like is having to see guys naked, especially old naked men...eww! Just dun think it's a pretty sight. Girl's body are definitely more beautiful. Once when i was surfing on the internet, i found a nudist travel agency. Basically, this is how it works. When you are on the plane flying to the nudist colony, the pilot will turn the heater on and announce to the passengers that they can take off their clothes. They'll arrive to the colony naked! How funny, a plane full of naked people!

Sometimes when i change in the morning, i dun close my curtains. My window faces the the side of my neighbor's house. There are no windows directly looking into my room but they are some windows. I wonder if the dad or the son accidently saw me walking around naked. Am I in their fantasy?

So i've decided to ask a question after each of my blogs, so whoever reads my blogs can write back.....it'll be a give and take relationship, okay. Stay anonymous if you like.

Question of the blog: Would you rather have your roommate walk in on you when you are having sex with your clothes on, or when you are dancing in front of the mirror naked (if you don't dance in front of the mirror naked, think of something u do naked, btw you should try it sometimes)?

Who am I...

I am: a werid girl

I think: in Chinese when i speak English and i think in English when i speak Chinese....told you i am werid

I know: how to make churros with tortilla, butter and cinamon suger....yummmmy!

I regret: lying to people i care about...sorrie

I ache: for a back massage....and more...

I long: for a sewing machine to make my quillos, curtains, pillows, blanket covers and other home decorating items

I have: to decorate luis' room this weekend...how exciting!! my first real project!!!

I must: stop flirting with the guy at rice garden who gives me and jowilla (my partner in crime) extra food...whoopee

I crave: for oyster noodles from taiwan and homecooking

I see: a lady wearing a white dress with long black hair standing next to my door when i turn off the lights to go bed

I feel: overwhelmed by all the choices i have when i graduate....(bartend, work for an interior designer, go to japan to learn japanese, go to china to improve my chinese, move to new york, find a computer job..yuk, travel in europe...basically, i have no limit to where i can go.....i'm already away from home and i dun plan to go back soon)

I hear: myself snore in class

I smell: like computers, just came back from lab

I touch: myself whenever i get lonely

I taste: my own snot...i got a cold...booo

I wish: i was a writer so i can write poetry other than ....roses are red...err, i dun even remember what goes next

I miss: eating authentic chinese food....yes, guts and all!

I fear: when the truth has to come out

I search: for nerdy guys to sit with in class so i can pass my ics classes

I wonder: if someone is thinking about me right now

I always: get laughed at...somehow my fobiness is entertainment

I am not: fat...i'm PHAT!!!...that's right...pretty hot and tempting!

I believe: sex for the first time is overrated...

I dance: naked to house music while i lather myself with lotion...

I sing: alone in the car with music loud enough so i can't hear my pathetic voice

I cry: when someone is hurt by me

I do not always: sprain my ankle and rub grease all over my face when i get drunk....

I fight: with myself over what i want to eat all the time..."i want spaghetti...NO, I want curry!...umm..but spaghetti looks really good..."...sigh, i'm so goddamn indecisive!

I write: like a 10 year old kid.. = (

i say: "Who farted!?!?!" when i fart in public....works everytime! ahaha

I never: had a threesome.....kinda curious

I confuse: chinese and english grammar all the freakin time

I am scared: of the dark. So many times, i hear people say, "What she doesn't know, won't her hurt."..."What happens in spain, stays in spain" Is it better to live in ignorance? If so, then why are we taught to be honest person in school? Why is honesty always mentioned during relationship therapy? Why do we get punish for academic dishonesty"

Truth. What is the truth? Oftentimes, we are caught in the dilemma of telling the truth. Should i tell her the truth that i lied to her or should i let her be in the dark and not hurt or worry her? Should i tell my mom i pierced my belly? She will NEVER understand. She will definitely disapprove and get mad at me. But, I really want to so i pierced it. After months of infection, I got sick of it and took it out. My mom never knew and i'm over my piercing stage. Did i do the wrong thing for lying? She never got disappointed at me and i didn't get in trouble.

Some people say you should alway tell the truth no matter what. "It may hurt her now but it will hurt ten times more when she finds out later." Isn't telling the truth after you lied better than letting that lie live forever? If so, why does the truth hurt more when it is discovered. Why does the fact that someone lied to you blinds you from their effort to be honest. It shouldn't matter because telling the truth is being honest and isn't honesty what we strive for.

I'm weak. I choose to live in ignorance. I rather live in a lie than discover the truth. Sometimes, it's nice to live in your own little world, where everything is the way you want it to be. Even if it isn't that way in reality, why can't i pretend? It's MY own god damn world!

Friends...

There are all types of friends. Which type is the best? Friends you've known for years, friends you share an interest with, friends who are loyal, friends who understand you, friends who would do anything for you, friends who make you smile, friends who pay for everything, friends from class, friends of a friend, or friends you party and get drunk with.

In theory, everyone wants a friend who loves them and treats them well. Who wouldn't want a friend that is loyal and is there for you when you need help. But is that type of love from a friend that great? What if that friend really loves being your friend and will do anything for you. She will never disagree with you and will always say "What do YOU want to do? What do YOU like? What do YOu want to eat? I"ll do whatever you like." To a point, it feels like she's trying to be YOU. I"ve had friends like that and although it would benefit me to have a friend that will do anything i want, i end up getting annoyed with the constant lack of input from them. I find myself striving to be friends with people who have their own opinions. As i get older, i look for people that are knowlegable in areas that I am foreign to. It's fascinating learning about their cultures, their hobbies, their sexuality, and their lives. This relationships works both ways, if they aren't interested in my culture, my hobbies or my believes, it would be hard for us to learn from each other. Luckily for me, because of my background, it's really easy for me to find this type of friend here.

So i'm in a dilemma. Do i chose the friend who is loyal and will do anything to make me happy or should i choose the friend who is intersting but is different from me. You meet so many friends in your life, how do you know which one are your best friends? How do you know which one will last a lifetime?

It's sad but i've lost a few bestfriends. I've always thought we would be "bestfriends 4eva". Back in those good ol dayz, I never thought i would be experiencing life without them. If, someday, for some random coincidence, they stumble onto this blog. I have one thing to say, "I miss you". This sounds so corny but i really do miss talking to them for hours at a time every single night, laughing at stupid things that only we would understand. I went home this christmas and found a letter that my ex-bestfriend wrote. His affection towards our friendship felt so familiar, yet foreign. Suddenly, i had an urge to write him an email telling him, "Hi, How have you been? I dun expect a reply, just wanted to say we had some crazy times and i miss it." I wonder if he still thinks about me.

The girl with the messy room

Why is it that everytime I start writing a post, my mind goes blank. All the ideas that clogged my mind earlier somehow disappeared. URGH, this is really frustrating! I always stop here because i'm afriad i'll start writing one of those typical blogs. i hate reading blogs where all they talk about is what they did that day, event by event. "So today i woke up and ate a bowl of cereal, then i hung out with some friends, adam told us a joke that almost made me pee in my pants...i would tell the joke but it's one of those you-had-to-be-there-jokes..blah blah"...ERR, those are soo boring! i mean, if it's one of those you-had-to-be-there-jokes, then WHY even bother telling us about it? I should stop here but i promised to update....it's been a while. I have all these plans for my blog, like get rid of those random fruits but I just dun have time, or do i?

I find myself complaining about not having enough time a lot. I also notice that when i do have time, i purposely find something unproductive to do to avoid doing what i had planned. For example, all year, i've been wanting to go swimming at least once a day. HAHA, that's unrealistic...but i was hoping to at least swim in the mornings on the weekends. I've only swam once this year and that was after 3 hours of convincing myself. I finally went because there was nothing good on TV. Sometimes I hate TV, it's one of the things I turn to when i'm trying to avoid doing something productive. It's so distracting! I'll sit infront of the TV watching the stupidest show, like Extreme Dating or Anna Nicole Smith Show, for hours when I know i could be cleaning the neverending mess in my room or sort my pictures from freshmen year.

Why am i so unproductive! I hate it because I "chose" to be. I get things done only when they have to be. I'll start my program the day before it's due but i'll get it done because i have to or else i'll fail. I clean the bathroom because it's my week so i have to. I dun clean my room because i dun have to. Having a messy room won't fail me in school or hurt me in anyway, it's just REALLY messy. Unfortunately, i have a high tolerance for messiness. I want to have a clean room because everyone else in my house has a clean room and it sucks when people dun remember my name but they know me as "the roommate with the messy room." All my life, i've had a messy room. I dunno how I do it. When I used to live at home, we had a maid who would clean my room everyday after i left for school so I would come home to a really neat room (my bed's made, no clutter on my desk, no clothes on the floor, my closet door is closed, no trash lying around, etc) but somehow my room will restore it's messy state by the next morning. Maybe having a messy room is just who i am and I should just accept it! One piece of the puzzle found! I'm Ces, the girl with the messy room.

My Thanksgiving.....

1 car accident
1 fucked up car in the tow yard
2 blisters from my new shoes
1 sprain ankle from a week ago
1 cut on my finger from cutting carrots

I can't believe I got in a car accident. I've hit cars before, but they were all very minor. A scatch here and there but nothing damaging. This time, i straight ran into the car infront of me. I remember driving on the freeway wondering why people were slowing down. Then i saw this police car driving along me. "Oh, that's why!" Then, five minutes later...BAM! I hit a car. If only i had slowed down when i saw that cop. If only i didn't look down to find my headset. If only i wasn't on the phone. If only there wasn't any traffic.....IF ONLY I WASN'T SO FUCKING CARELESS! Damn, thinking about it makes me mad. The worst part is it was totally my fault so i can't blame anyone else.

I'm still trying to figure out what happened. I remember when i looked down to look for my head set, i was still really far away from the car infront of me. I thought i only looked down for a second but when i looked up again, all i saw was the trunk of that white infiniti. Before i could slam on my brakes, my body was thrown forward. I blacked out for a second before i realized what happened. When i open my eyes, all i saw was my bent hood. My glasses had flew off during the collision which surprised me because they are quite tight and don't come off easy. Before I knew, the cop who i saw earlier had already stopped all the cars behind me. It was crazy. I turned around and saw five lanes of cars just sitting there patiently waiting for me to drive to the curb. By the time i drove to the curb, i was in a complete mess. The cop tried to calm me down by telling me, "It's okay, this is only a very minor collision. You will be fine..." MINOR?! A scratch is minor. Oh well, at least he was nice to me. He took care of everything for me, i didn't even have to get out of my car to talk to the people i hit. Strangely, they didn't even seem mad. They probably felt bad for me cus my car got so fucked up and they only had SCRATCHES on their bumper. SCRATCHES!!! Me....i can't even open my two front doors! i had to crawl to the back seat to get out. My hood is crumpled, there were so much fluid leaking the cop told me to turn off my engine in case of an engine fire. Man, I was so jealous when i saw that infiniti drive off.

Here's something ironic. Head sets are designed to prevent accidents, in my case, they are the reason for my accident.

Alone

The calm waves splashes softly
Showing no signs of fear
Only free spirit

The bright sun rays showers the open sea
Offering only encouragement
For unknown journeys ahead

Surrounded by nature’s beauty
My only regret is
Having no one to share it with

",,,you look like a princess."

"Excuse me, has anyone ever told you...that you look like a princess?" I turned around to see a scrawny short Asian guy looking at me through his nerdy glasses. He was wearing a blue button up shirt and pulling one of those bookbags that look like a suitcase. "you look like you are from Siam.." Confused, i turned around hoping to find the girl he's talking to. Nope, just me and this guy who speaks with a strangely familiar accent. Turns out, he saw me playing volleyball at the ARC last week. "Why do you think guys and girls play so differently? When guys play, they are so...cruel." I really didn't know how to answer. I started explaining that guys are stronger and they are able to hit the ball harder and faster. As i was trying to answer his question, i was thinking, "what a werid question! and why am i still talking to him?" He finished my answer, "cus they are more...what's the word...masculine." I find that answer very interesting because lately i've come in contact with the idea of "masculinity" a lot.

Someone once asked me "what is masculinity?" Is it masculine to lift 100 lbs weights at the gym? Have you ever noticed the faces of guys when they lift those weights? They look like they are giving birth. Have you ever listened to them grunt when they lift those weights? They sound like they are giving birth. What's wrong here? Guys don't give birth. The faces and noises they involuntarily make is their body telling them, "STOP, you are hurting me!" But why do we still see so many guys in the gym lifting those extremely heavy weights? It's because they want to be seen as masculine. Statistics states that men die 7 years earlier than women. Because of our society, men will always try to be masculine, even if it's literally killing them.

Back to my story. As we started talking, i found out that this guy is from Taiwan too which explains the accent. So we began to converse using a combination of English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. I could have easily made up some lame excuse and left him but i didn't. I could tell he was kinda nervous from they way he stuttered at the beginning of the sentence, but he was confident. I like guys with confidence but too much can be a big turn off. Anyways, we talked for a while and he used the typical, "H-Hey, we we have a lot in common, let's ke-eep in touch." A lot in common? I guess if you call having lived in taiwan and playing volleyball a lot in common. Normally, i would have came up with some typical reply like, "sorry, i have a boyfriend." But i didn't and we ended up exchanging emails. As i wrote my email on a piece of paper, i thought, "What are you doing, ces? You are soo not interested in this guy!" Why did i give him my email? Maybe because i admire his courage. The courage to walk up to a random girl and start a conversation using that corny line, "Has anyone every told you that you look like a princess?" When it was too late to take back my email address, i realized what i did and thought, "shit, what if he's some psycho? I hope he doesn't email me." Walking away, i tried to make some sense in what just happened. Maybe his friends dared him to come talk to me. I guess i made him a "man" infront of his friends. Not only were we talking from the science library to HIB, he also got my info. Is he consider masculine now?

ces says, "always be on ur best behavior, you never know when you are being watched"
